New Training Grounds

The club continues in its efforts to source new Training Grounds for the Club. The

underage section of the club has grown significantly during the last two years and New

Training Grounds will allow us to grow further. We are appealing to any landowners in

the locality of Holycross who would be willing to sell the necessary acreage and also to

any prospective sponsors of this purchase.

Pitch location – Behind Reardon’s Pub at Holycross, Bruff, Co Limerick

Club Colours – First set of kit used by the club in the 1960’s was plain red. Since joining the LDMC league in the 1970’s the colours have generally been red and black vertical stripes with black shorts & socks.

First Youths team (18’s) – 1984/85 season

Only club team to win double in any season – Under 18’s team of 2000/01 under management team of Diarmuid Hynes and Denis Flavin

First grandchild of early club member to join club (we think!) – Ethan Butler, grandson of Jerry Butler who was member of squad in 1960’s
